Break-in Period

  • With all models you should take it easy on the throttle.
  • Avoid full throttle take off. CVT drives are roller weight and belt driven. Lengthen the life of your scooter by riding responsibly.
  • Avoid full throttle rides for the first 150 miles.
  • Always allow your scooter or motorcycle to warm up to operating temp before riding off. Usually 1 minute of warm up is plenty.
  • With smaller engines DO NOT ride full open for extended periods.
  • Air cooled or Liquid cooled can overheat and shut down or worse.
  • Riding faster than manufacturer recommended speed can cause your scooter / motorcycle to stall, overheat or worse. Our mechanics can determine if a bike has been abused.
  • Engines 250cc and up HIGHWAY riding is not recommended for the first 300 – 500 miles.
  • Be sure to get a bike big enough for the traffic and roads you will be traveling.
  • With 150cc engines and smaller try to stay about 55 or slower do not ride full open for extended periods.

Servicing your new ATL Scooter or Motorcycle

(Approximately every 1500 miles or 4 months)
First oil change (four stroke engine) and First service should be 500 miles for most models. It is 300 Miles for Daelim.
Second oil change should be 2000 miles.
Third oil change for some models should include a gear oil change at 3000 miles.
You will void your warranty if you self service or have service performed by anyone other than ATL Scooters & Motorcycles. Please visit our service for other options.
TNG scooters require the use of OPTI OIL for the 2nd year warranty.
Scooters and motorcycles need to be ridden often or will encounter the effects of neglect.

  1. Failing battery
  2. Clogged carburetor

Warranties only include manufacture mechanical defects. You are responsible to inspect your ATL scooter or motorcycle’s nuts and bolts prior to every ride.
Park in a secure area, secure your scooter, and cover your scooter.
For safety we recommend that you always wear a DOT approved helmet, proper shoes, eye wear / facing shield, gloves and protective clothing.

IF YOUR SCOOTER OR MOTORCYCLE WON’T START

  1. Turn Key to on or circle position. Visually verify this position.
  2. Turn kill switch to on or circle position. Visually verify this position.
  3. On some models you will need to make sure that the side kick stand is in the UP position.
  4. Squeeze either brake lever. Safety to engage electric start.
  5. If kick starting place on rear service stand first.
  6. Smaller engines may require you to give time to start up.
  7. Call 404-607-1110 to schedule assistance and / or service.

Your new purchase includes a translated manual and an onboard tool kit. Please ensure that your manual and tool kit is included with your purchase packet. You are responsible to ensure receipt of your manual and tool at time of delivery. Many manuals are available online. Replacement manuals are available at a reasonable price.
